But how would that really help anyways for downloading VC games? In all reality, most people don't have fast enough internet to saturate the full bandwidth

About downloading speed.
If I compare covers download time on wii vs wget then something looks bad, very bad.
I think N chose most cheapest wifi chipset possible.

Now Wii U have hdmi port and I smell problems here starting from HDCP issues.

Well, since nothing is going to be playing protected video content that is not proprietary, I don't think that will be an issue. The Wii U will not be playing DVD's or Blu-Ray's at all. I really can't wait to see what they havein store for a disc that can hold 25 GB of data on a proprietary format. They must be borrowing or stealing some technology from somewhere. They probably have a reversed HD-DVD format kinda like they had a reversed DVD format for the wii.

"Epic Fail" is relative. My nephew says the wii is an epic fail so he bought a Ps3. My best friend says the ps3 is an Epic Fail so he bought a 360. A female friend of mine says 360 and ps3 are both Epic Fail so she bought a wii, so which one of the three is right?

When we talk about upcoming consoles all we can say are speculations even if we read some info coming from the company site or Nintendo officials interviews. I do remember people posting that the wii would have DVD support because an Official Source (like Nintendo) had plans for it and later that changed. There was even info saying that Nintendo would release a HDMI adapter + HDMI supporting games and later that changed.

Right now every information posted here is 50% reliable so a person with common sense can't go around ranting at something QFT because things changes for the worse or for the best.
