maybe you guys can help me out here i just bought an old toshiba external USB 2.0 HDD to use with my
wiiu and the wii u says it is write protected
the drive has an extra partition for software

is there a way to remove this ?
i tried to load up mini tool partition wizard but i only see the main partition not the CD one
it also has 2 ways to connect it , one usb and one for e-sata it says the usb is needed to install the software and that you can connect it with an esata cable and it will only read the main partition ,so will i need an estata cable? will this even work or will the wii u still detect the other CD partition with the drive software on it and say write protected?
