Wanted to show off Breath of the Wild to a family member so I brought the Wii U with me. Since 2 weeks my gamepad broke so I'm playing with the pro controller. I didn't bring my gamepad since the game is perfectly playable without. BUT, I also forgot my usb-stick with my savefiles on there. Luckily I found another stick I could use but it needs to be formatted to the Wii U format. To do this, I need of course the gamepad. Because you can't acces setting without it, so back to square one.
So, last hope: is there a way to format a usb stick upfront to the format Nintendo uses on the WiiU? That way the Wii U would detect enough space and we could install the necessary update for breath of the wild.
