Buy a US Gamepad from eBay, change the region back to EUR and then return the gamepad to ebay

PD. You should make it REGION FREE, that way you dont have to choose.

The Gamepad isn't bricked, they'd be alright to resell it on ebay. It's the Wii U itself that is bricked.

That's not the point; imagine if you were selling a Wii U gamepad on eBay and someone bought it and then returned it to you and wasted your time and money to ship it.

Pro Controller is region free, so if you have one, you can try to change your settings back by it.

I tried using the pro controller too, but it wouldn’t still run anything on the console. Am i missing anything ?

Did you install CBHC? If so, you might be able to cold boot into the Homebrew Launcher (if you installed that as a channel) and then go into FTP and change back what you changed. Though I think even if you do have all that it very well may not allow you to launch into Homebrew Launcher in this way all the same, I'm pretty doubtful, but it's worth a shot if you have that setup already.

you'll be able to fix it with ftpii u everywhere for haxchi or mocha (your preference). however, I don't know what to do if no controller works.

Yes it will help to reverse the console to its original region.. This is if the console is not bricked.. Which you haven't mentioned anything ... the I imagine it boots right? And loads the menu...

yes, console boots properly. Here’s what I did - It’s a EUR WIiU, I changed the game region code from EUR to US using ftpii_everywhere, in order to use a Mario US game disc(legit). I don’t have any NAND backup. After doing this, the console boots properly but, I cannot load any app or system settings or game using gamepad or procontroller.
Please let me know how I can reset the game region back to EUR.

that’s correct. It doesn’t enter System settings. I get error 157-1104 for everything I click from the gamepad or procontroller .

You changed the region so now you won't be able to run anything that's already installed.
That's it.

Maybe you can run a disk from this other region you changed to.
If that works, you can then find Mario Kart 8 and use it to launch the Homebrew Launcher
