Recently adquired a WII U for homebrewing, followed all the wiiuhacks steps, made a backup of my nand, etc. WII U autoboots into Aroma.

I was figuring out how to download games to my external HD, and I came to seeing that I could use NUSspli to transfer from SD to WIIU HD.

I went directly to the latest NUSspli patch for Aroma, for some reason it does not show up at all on my home menu. And it is in fact installed on SD/wiiu/apps and not SD/apps.
Furthermore, if I try installing 01_sigpatches on .../modules/setup the WII U boots into a error message saying "can't parse .wms from buffer".
If I try to install c2w_patcher into .../plugins it just doesn't boot at all. Stays at a black screen.

Both of those errors are gone as soon as I remove sigpatch/c2w.
I've looked online and I have not found anyone with the same problem as me, which leads me to believe I may have done something wrong in my install or perhaps skipped a step. Any help would really be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Let's try to get one thing after the other working. So sigpatches first (remove NUSspli and c2w patcher from your SD card) :

1) Run the Aroma Updater app on your Wii U to make sure everything is up 2 date.
2) Try this sigpatches module:
Hello, thank for your reply.

I've quickly followed your advice but it gives out the same result. Uninstalled NUSspli and C2W and installed SIGPatcher.
When I try to boot the WII U, it gives a black screen with "Can't parse .wms from buffer".
Aroma and all other plugins are fully updated.

I've noticed i nthe SD card that both 01_sigpatcher and 01_splashcreen both share the same "01_". Could that be causing any error?

Once I get home I will also try switching to a smaller SD card I have to see if the issue persists.

Made a backup of all the SD files, reformatted my SD and now the Wii U boots into a black screen.

Man, trying to get this thing to work is pissing me off; I might as well try the whole homebrewing process again from zero

I don't really think so, since the rest of the Wii U works fine. I can easily download and play a small game off NUSspli (like a game from earlier consoles that only weighs some megabytes), the issue is downloading anything bigger. So far I think it's just a instability issue with the Wii U's wifi, that makes the NUSspli download stutter and give an error. I'm gonna get a ethernet adapter soon and see how it plays out with a stable connection.

I'm having a similar issue, whenever I put the sigpatch file on my SD, I can't load Aroma, it just has a black screen. When I remove it, it runs just fine. Any suggestions?

It's working now, wonder why
pls tell me what you did im dying to get my wii u to work

I am having the same issues with SigPatches. i have been looking everywhere for a solution, but to no avail. Anytime i place the Sigpatches rpx file into the enviroments>aroma>modules>setup folder, I am met with the "EnviromentLoader: Tried to overflow .data buffer" error. I do not know how or why this is appearing. I have looked everywhere for the answer.

Were you ever able to fix your problem? As mentioned, I am dealing with the same issues.
