Hacking WII U pre installed firmware.

Has anyone who has bought a wii u remember what the firmware was when they first got it? Was it the latest? I want to do the loadiine exploit, which only works on 5.3.2.

Refurbished are all up to date. Learn to search

When I bought refurbished 3ds though, it was 9.4 when the latest was 9.9.

It was most likely updated to 9.4 when it was refurbed. Nintendo update all the consoles they refurb, so at this point it doesnt matter anyway, everything will be above 5.3.2, or 9.2 for 3ds

You'd basically have to get extremely lucky and get shipped a console that they've had sitting around with the refurb work done since June. As EmceeKerser said, any refurbs they do get updated to latest FW at the time.
