hindsight is always 20/20 but you should have been following this guide https://github.com/FlimFlam69/WiiUTutorial/wiki. There is a HUGE warning that you should have heeded.

BRICK WARNING
Coldboothax is dangerous. If things aren't setup correctly before we move on, this will brick your console. Make sure you have done the following:

• Haxchi is functional.
  • It doesn't matter what it's currently booting to. If it boots any kind of homebrew (Homebrew Launcher, RetroArch, Mocha CFW, etc) then you're good.
• Haxchi is on your internal memory/ sysNAND.
  • This means that your Haxchi title should be on your Wii U. If it is on USB, it will not work.

I am not responsible if you brick your Wii U.

Nah, not accusing anyone why I broke my wii u. I mean it's not the end of the world. I am just wondering if there is any way of making it work and if there is no way then that's it. We can't do much about it. I just did not know I have to buy a game. I am new to this and I thought by downloading it with FunKii-UI-2.1.5 will work.

Hopefully my case can help others not to do this.

Hi guys,

I am new to all this and was thinking to use some hacks on my wii u.

I started to try and install some software in my wii u and ended up with code 160-0103. My Wii u is on 5.5.1 firmware.

Okay this is what I did that I think has created this error 160-0103.

I downloaded these softwares;
WUP Installer Mod Y
Homebrew Launcher
HBL CBHC
HAXCHI

I installed the game called Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day and a video online said you need to install haxchi over the game. I installed the game Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day with cfwbooter and then installed the Haxchi over the game. Then the video said I have to install CBHC. Did it. The video said I have to shut down the console and reboot it again. This is where wii u does not boot again anymore.

It gets to a black screen with error code 160-0103 and that there is a problem with the system memory.

Some people say it's a code that says your wii is dead (Prick).

Any help? Anyone has any ideas how to do anything?

I did remove the battery, nothing happened. I still can't get to wii menu anymore.

Yeah your right I was only having a bit of fun with the other guy hes not really a cock! I agree with you, you should follow proper legit threads first and read into it a bit more before attempting anything your not sure about but tbh to the guy cbhc is a very dodgy cfw to install and a brick can easily happen, its happened to many so far, hes not the first and wont be the last!

Titles of videos can be updated to say it is up to date when it isn't you know.

So you're completely fucked since you installed cbhc over a title that isn't legit. Both videos use sysnand so you have no nand dump



You had to buy the game for cbhc... Otherwise it is a complete brick.

Well I am new to this. I did read few forums and watches maybe 5-8 videos and thought I was doing the right thing. I mean I did manage to install Mario kart 8 and it did work. I thought it should be fine to keep doing it.

Yes it does say I need to buy that game but since I downloaded it and installed it, I thought that's it. I don't have to have it. Was a mistake and that's it.
