Hardware wii u gamepad high capacity battery

hi all,

just got myself one of the high capacity batteries for my wii u gamepad and just wanted to know why is it blinking orange when charging?my standard battery does not do this.took the charger out and gampad turns on ok.is this something to be worried about?

Think its that crappy one ffs.no nintendo logo on the back of battery.is the blinking light something to be worried about?

is it even charging and holding a charge? if there is no nintendo logo than it's definitely not the official one.

Its holding the charge ok and when I click on the home button on the gamepad I can see that its charging. Was just curious as to why it was blinking orange when charging.

Blinking orange means something is wrong with the battery and you should replace it

hmm is it an external battery charger or is it a battery that you replace the original one with?

I have the Nyko--the original run of them were a mess, but the updated one they sent to replace it works like a charm--you probably got one from the first batch. Contact Nyko and see if they'll replace it for you.

Isn't there also some trick where you wrap the battery cord a certain way before plugging it in? Not a great long term solution, I'm sure, but maybe if someone could tell him it could tide him over until Nyko replaces it.

You're likely better off getting the official extended battery IMHO

i would like to know how long Wii U Pad standard battery holds? Wii U is 2-3 years old and now it holds max 3 hours?

is my battery dead? What to buy to have better capacity?
