Hardware Wii U Gamecube port question.

Hello. Im not 100% sure if or if not this is the place to ask this but I hade a very simple question. As of lately Ive been playing Super Smash Bros Brawl mods and was wondering if there was any way to use the Wii U gamecube controller port to allow me to use gamecube controls while playing Brawl on the wii u.
