Wii U bricked(?) by deleting all users

Using FTPiiU, I deleted every user from the Wii U. I did this because the NNID passwords are long forgotten, so I couldn't sign into the accounts.

I didn't realise deleting every user would make it get stuck on the Wii U logo forever during startup. I thought it would take me to an account creation screen or something.

Is there any way I could fix this? Would copyi6a user from another Wii U using Wupserver work?

if you are on 5.5.x, go buy yourself a Pico/RP2040 chip and use Recovery menu, then trigger a system reset manually.

you probably shouldn't have done that. anyway yeah buy a Raspberry Pi Pico or Zero (Pico is recommended) (or a Switch, but you need to have payload inject rights, so fusee gelee or modchip. just buy a pi pico) and look up the Wii U Recovery Menu

do you have any backup of your console?
