Now, how long until ...
1. this is considered legit enough for the front page
2. before Nintendo blocks it (since they were real smart and already said it has to do with a buffer overflow in the icon image before release)
3. before it's good enough to release
4. before there's any public SDK to be able to actually WRITE something to run on it

(I assume that will, unfortunately, happen in this same order)

Bootmii or priiloader first please. Can go from there. Nothing for me until I get a recovery.

Well I'll be damned, the thing was real after all. I was a bit skeptical about it, but it looks like we might be seeing the worlds first Wii-U exploit released to the public

I think they left a clue at this video about the release date. :P
See (December, 25)

Or maybe not... :P

I think they meant that they will have a Christmas Present for us soon, whether or not that is actually on Christmas, we'll have to wait and see.....

Either that or we won't be hearing from them again until after Christmas.... :(

I honestly have no problem staying offline. A CFW/Hacked machine has no business online anyways.

I hardly played online Mario Kart on the Wii, much less used the services. With Wii U, same, never played against a person online. I see no harm in having it set up that way.

Ok i already know your not in it for warez(as you typed those words to me) .. so im assuming you have a massive list of amazing homebrew that would supercede your need for eshop / online gaming / miiverse etc ?

Might work better if you actually quoted who you are talking to.

I've never had a hacked console online--ever. There is no need for it, it leads to nothing but trouble for the hackers, for the users and for the company in question. It opens the door and compromises their network security, thereby compromising their corporate security and putting each and every user of their service at risk.

You can't have your cake and eat it too.
