Gaming Wii softmod warranty question

Hey, so I softmodded my 4.2 wii

1) and I'm wondering if it voids the warranty..

2) I also purchased a BESTBUY 4 year warranty, does it void that one too?


3) If one of my brothers update the wii to "4.3" one day, will it crash my system and make it unusable, or simply prob delete the softmod and continue working?
