Hacking wii repair problems

So a friend of mine messed up his homebrew channel and asked me to fix it I took on the job thinking it would be an easy reinstall, but the problem is that the hackmii installer is telling me that there are no vulnerable ios's.

I can get wad manager open and have IOS30-64-v1040.wad and Systemmenu-v289.wad but cant remember what order to install them in. if anyone can help me any input would be helpful.

It will already have systemmenu289.wad - installing IOS 30-v1040 should suffice. Has cioscorp been installed on this Wii before? Alternatively you can install via DOP-IOS
