To no one's suprise Nintendo officially announced it was dropping the MSRP price of the Wii fro. $249.99 to $199.99. It was rumored to be happening from everyone from Toysrus to Sony. It became obvious it was gonna happen this week yet Nintendo denied it just last week (if I recall correctly). So now that its officially is anyone who doesn't own a Wii gonna pick one up (no flaming)? And if so what are you gonna do with that extra $50? Buy a game? Buy a cheap hooker? You tell me.

they did it to beat sony in price range $199 vs $299 instead of $250 vs $299 what do you think some mom is gonna get there kid for Christmas or whatever $100 difference to the bargain hunting mom it makes a diffrence.
not that it's a bad thing i prefer the wii,
though you also gotta think most everyone from here to mars already owns a wii.
