well i didnt actualy mean to say i have it,it kinda sliped while saying that he doesnt steal other people work, i was like saying that hes got something good by accident. i was going to take a picture of what it is, but my sister robbed the camera, and im not uploading revision builds because well there were some funny bugs

Regarding your reference to my requesting source code, I happen to be pro-GPL. Even if I don't find something of use, I would rather have it be open source than not. Software should be used as a learning tool, and it's hard to learn when you have to spend the majority of your time reverse engineering everything.

First of all, why should I care what you put in a dinky little readme? Half the time, people don't bother to read them, which is exemplified by the fact that we see twenty or so posts requesting help with a new release.

Correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation are enough to make up for all that is lacking here.

I don't believe you've heard the phrase "past triumphs don't account for present digressions", but it basically means that nobody cares what you've done before if you spend your time now trying to be better than everyone else.

You're probably not BSing, seeing as Waninkoko is only slightly higher on the totem pole than most GBATempers. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have a problem befriending you and even giving you something he's working on. However, I don't think he'd appreciate you gloating over it.

My only concern can be best summed up with a phrase I'm sure you've heard of: "Loose lips sink ships".

I don't know if you realize this, but what makes Bushing "Bushing" is not so much his technical knowledge as it is the way he conducts himself. As much as you idolize nitrotux, I have strong convictions that he could not speak at a conference. There's a word for people like Bushing: personable.

Personable people conduct themselves in a manner that is either neutral or leaning toward friendly. Part of being friendly is being humble, and part of being humble is not trying to be better than everyone else. Now, I'm not speaking for myself, as I don't claim to be personable. I am, however, speaking for people like nitrotux and linkinworm who put their cards on the table without having a bet to check against.

It's acceptable to share information. It's unnacceptable to present that information in a way that gives you leverage.

I don't get involved in things like this, but I can tell you I'm sick of zidane_gerome (w/e his weirda$$ name is) and teq.

teq seems like he knows things, he sounds like the second Einstein, but all he does is talk and doesn't do s**t at all and flame people who are doing things to scene
