So a little back story. I bought a Wii a little time ago and it worked fine. I installed hbc and hacked it with Pimpmywii. Then a little later my SD card slot stopped working. It just doesn't recognize any type brand or size of SD. I tried 2,4,8 and 16 GB sd's ones SD and others microsd+adaptor.
So what's going on?
Is this a faulty iOS?
Thanks...

I wonder if a usb sd card adapter would work...

Try Mymenuify next time. Your SD Card probably died, or the reader.

Edit: You could try restoring the IOS. But in the long shot you may fail. I will do some research on the issue soon, keep in mind I don't hold any warrenty if your Wii bricks further. For dealing with this stuff try having older members work with you.

It works much better than PimpMyWii, and I found the Compatibillity a little better. Mymenuify is probably one of the newest versions of a "Wii theme changer", and it's the most supported up to date.
Mymenuify is for themes, pimp my wii is for installing cutom IOS IIRC

Lol fail.
Yeah then nothing can really be done. You could try though. Which IOS did you install, did it just stop working once you ran it?
it stopped working about a month after the IOS were installed , when I was playing Super Paper Mario :P.
I patched every single one of the IOS

This is not only a bad idea but also completely unnecessary.

Bad idea, they don't call it BrickMyWii for no reason. It might have nothing to do with your issue but it's famous for causing bricks and other problems.

Can you access the card(s) with a PC? If so, the slot is probably dirty or damaged. You can get an SD card slot cleaner and try it.

yes, I can acess the 3 diferent cards on the PC but non of them are recognized on the wii

You may need one of those fancy card readers hooked up to a USB Port since the Wii is unable to detect SD Cards in the SD Slot...

It may work, but the chances may be low, or on a moderate scale. If you want to completely just fix the Wii I would recommend just buying an original white Wii pre owned without the system menu update.

If you're still able to load homebrew via USB, run DOP-Mii and reinstall all of the original IOSes. (If you're using System Menu 4.3, then you can install the latest version of all of them. If using 4.2 or earlier, make sure you don't overwrite the System Menu IOS with a stub.)
