Hi Could somebody please explain how you make channels (for wii menu)
Of the apps you can run in Homebrew,
As over the last week i have been sorting my wii out so it will run games
from usb device and at some ponit along the way i managed to get 2
channels (Usb loder gx & The homebrew channel) on the wii menu but i
can't remeber how i did this.

now i know i read somewhere that there is a way to get wads for most
of the apps so you can make the channels so could someone please
upload or point me in the right direction.
the apps i want channels for are

WiiMC (Wii Media Player)
MPlayer CE (Wii Media Player)
Wii64 (N64 Emulator for Wii)
Snes9x GX (Super Nintendo Emulator)
Pcsx-Revoution (Playstaion 1 Emulator)

Just thought to add I'm running on 4.3E just incase thats makes any diff.
to the wads i can use & my wii is not on the internet.

Why did you post the same thread twice?

You need to install the wad's on your nand. You can use the Multi Mod Manager for that or the Wadmanager Gui. I am sure there are others that work as well.
Those programs need full nand access to do their job. For that purpose, either they run on an ios with AHBPROT rights, or they run on ios236 which is basically a version of ios 36 installed in slot 236.
You have 2 kind of homebrew wad's. Some contain a forwarder to a homebrew program, which is basically just a small application that loads the program itself from sd or usb. Others contain the program itself embedded in the wad. Those usually take more space, need to be reinstalled for an upgrade, but run a little faster.

Also be aware that installing a bad wad can banner brick your wii. If you don't have bootmii @ boot2, the least you should have is priiloader installed to fix things if they go wrong.

Why did you post the same thread twice?

I never ment to, when i hit post Internet explorer locked up and then said not responding, then when it had refreshed, there was to posts, so if adaim could delete the other post that would be great, if not sorry peeps for the 2 posts

What's an adaim?

Maybe he just misspelled admin?
Sometime I also don't write the correct word and I write something completely different (not just mixed letters).

Anyway, I deleted the other duplicated topic, so the case is close.
Double posting happens, just report it and we take care of them.
Let's go back to the topic's subject.

WiiMC already has an official channel, google it.

You can find premade channels for all the other ones on CustomizeMii's main menu, all you have to do is choose the one you want and then set up the forwarder by going to the Options tab, clicking "Forwarder..." then "Simple Forwarder" and then entering the name of the folder the app is in (for example, if the app's path is "SD:/apps/mplayer_ce/boot.dol", then you would type "mplayer_ce")

Type 1:
Download the channel installer and run from Homebrew Channel (HBC)
Or get from Homebrew Browser (HBB)
Needs HBC to be running on IOS58

WiiMC (Wii Media Player)

Snes9x GX (Super Nintendo Emulator)

Type 2:
Get wadmanager or yawmm or similar
I still use: http://gbatemp.net/topic/196912-wad-manager-15-multimod/
Wii64 (N64 Emulator for Wii)
Pcsx-Revoution (Playstaion 1 Emulator)
MPlayer CE (Wii Media Player)
