I tried that and I could register friends, but when I send a message, it just won't make it to the other Wii. Any ideas?
Only thing that worked for me was to have them send me a message and reply to it on the message board. (While the GUI for creating messages is broken/hidden the GUUI for Replying is untouched)

That's what I said, maybe they were just doing a recreation of the Cerne Abbas giant but didn't finish it in time.
