NO.

The following RiiConnect24 services are not working on the vWii:

• Wii Mail (most functionality does not exist on vWii)
  • This includes sending/receiving mail to/from friends. You can only receive global broadcast mail and posts from RSSMii feeds (if set up).

not that I know of. why do you want that to work on the vwii? the vwii is a modified version of 4.3 on the wii. a lot of things don't work like system settings and mail as you know.

Not only is the wii menu hard to replace (being some weird wii/wiiu hybrid verified when starting vwii), but it would miss most of the point because of differences in connected standby that doesn't include wii-mode KD (wiiconnect24) processing - which, I am not sure, may even be disabled in IOS

wiiconnect24 on the wii itself causes the wii to get very hot in standby. I turned mine off.

The point is:

Wii Mail (most functionality does not exist on vWii)

It is maybe a "missing" Software only (like the "castrated" System Menu on the Wii Mini) but nobody including the RiiConnect Team cares about the vWii Mode.

Also of the limited cIOS "Options" on the vWii Mode (like no Hermes).
Maybe one Day some ambitious Programmer will have a Solution.....but not today.

If Someone made a homebrew app/channel to access the Address Book and message send functions you could get Wii Mail working on vWii. I've successfully used NWC24 Editor to add people to my address book to receive and reply to messages on the vWii

As it seems this very new Project looks very ambitious and seems to be focused on the Wii.
(Japanese Channels sounds very promising)
Unfortunately no Release until today,so we have to wait and see how it is progressing.

• Check Mii Out Channel/Mii Contest Channel (see above note)
• Everybody Votes Channel (see above note)

There's an SDK tool by Nintendo that can be used to send messages on vWii, however since it's an SDK tool I don't really want to spread the word about it much. Plus, it's kind of dangerous, and I'd rather have it work on the Wii Menu.
