Hi,

Im currently on 3.2e so this will be ok for me to use?
Do i just change the xyzzy.dol to boot.dol and put in the apps/folder and run through hbc?
Will it change the way my wii works or just it just give me the codes?
Sorry im new at this.

Cheers

You can try but it seems the app no longer works while "Sending things to earth" I don't think it's finding the file it needs the IOS11 like orbiting234 said earlier....I was trying the apps I had on my card after updating HBC beta9 and it doesn't work.......wonder if bushing can/will fix this.....how can people new to homebrew dump their keys now?

Run it, let us know if it works for you.

anyone know what all the keys can be used for?

I'm pretty stupid when it comes to this stuff. I learn it all by watching you guys and reading. I can't tell if you're being serious or not when asking. I don't know what they can be used for but they're mine.....all mine....and they're not like yours. I assume one of them can be used to decrypt your encrypted nand dump? That's probably already documented somewhere....now I'm curious....bye......

Mine is broken with the HBC beta 9 upgrade..
"Sending things to Earth..... hopes ....\"

Hrm, does anyone know what's wrong? I'm on 3.3U.

As I understand it... this app downloads an IOS from nintendo servers, then patches it.. installs it (ie, like a cIOS).. uses it, then deletes it when it's done.

My guess is that the problem here, is that the IOS versions on the nintendo servers are now patched against fake signing... and if that's the case, it should no longer work for anyone - unless there's a version which can use existing cIOS or an (old, vulnerable) wad from the SD card.

My guess is that you have the new 3.3U and that this program isn't set to use CIOS (I believe). That means that it can't install the IOS it normally would at the part of the program that it uses to access the file-system...

(*sigh* I'm so slow..)

So, basically, I'm going to need to wait for someone to release xyzzy that reads an old, unpatched, IOS from the SD card to grab the keys?
Hrm, another waiting game, thanks guys.

Hi,

You can check bushing article on hackmii : http://hackmii.com/2008/04/keys-keys-keys/

Basically they are used by the wii to verify that thing you throw at it are effectivelly genuine dics/channels/IOSs. It is a one way trip, you can't sign anything with it, the key used for that is kept by nintendo. The only exception is SDKey that is used to encrypt your saved games so you can't use them on another wii, but this is already wide open. I guess when nintendo will allow to copy wads to the sdcard this key will also be used.

I was bored so i made a icon

yep freezes when it says (sending things to earth)

yes, if someone had amended it to return to work, I suppose that the plant had to patch the bug to fall with trout

I actually managed to get it xyzzy working on 4.0U, I used WiiSCU to (+)Patch Trucha back into all the IOSes listed in WiiSCU.

Sorry for bringing back an old topic btw but figured it'd be helpful to someone out there.
