The compat installer is not a wii app. Read the github repo. It says: Install the Homebrew Channel to the vWii Menu from Wii U Mode."

Makes sense because you need access first to the homebrew channel (which you don't have because it is not softmodded atm). Try the wuphax method. And follow the guide.

You copied compat installer into the wrong folder

  1. Copy the compat_installer.elf file to the wiiu/apps folder on the root of your SD Cardd
You have to copy it into wiiu/apps and not apps

Your Root directory should look like this:

tme 2.JPG

after that you have to launch the Wii U Homebrew Launcher and compat_installer should be there

Thanks.

Now ... I start USB Loader on vWii, but USB-Stick are dont to see...

The Joke: Game is 4,3GB, Stick/SD Card must be FAT32, and FAT32 can use max. 4GB Datas. With trick i have put it on Stick (Game make as WinRar, then unrar on stick - this worked...)

And the Wii Game on SD Card ... dont see

Error: "USB Device not initialized Switching to channel list mode"

no, don't zip or rar the ISO, that doesn't work.

You have to:

1. Format your HDD as FAT32
2. Convert your ISO Images to WBFS Format
3. Copy the Files to your external HDD like this: F:\wbfs\Mario Party 8 [RM8P01]\RM8P01.wbfs

usb loader gx can't load wii games from sd card, only cube games. it won't cause that error, but sometimes you have to enable wii games to be displayed with the tabs on the top of the screen. I forgot which one it is, but it will have wii, cube, nand, emunand, etc. don't enable nand unless you have something installed to it or you'll get superfluous crap in your games' list. I wouldn't even install anything to the actual nand, just build an emunand in features, then inject all wii titles you want. no risk whatsoever. and, you can batch install, so you could build a large emunand. just remember to add them to custom path. btw, this only works with beta 52, since it's the only one with the fat library.

And that's the reason why you should use the wii backup manager. Files bigger than 4gb on fat32 devices doesn't work...that's correct. But the backup manager splits these games automatically. There is no trick you could use or need.

This Guide Should Explain More In Depth
Click for the Wii U hacking guide

Vwii Modding Guide
Click for the Vwii hacking guide

The issues I had originally come across resulted from:
Sd/apps
Vs
Sd/wiiu/apps

Sd/apps
for the wii homebrew

Sd/wiiu/apps
for the Wii U Homebrew

Nintendont should only be in SD/apps not in sd/Wiiu/apps

Dont install the Wii U Homebrew Channel forwarder, as it causes problems with tiramisu
Instead boot into the wii u with the files already on the sd card, run the wiiuexploit.xyz
Tiramisu the console, and run tiramisu boot installer.
When you turn the console on it should pop up already in the blue tiramisu screen
Select Tiramisu, then load Mii Maker to pop up the homebrew channel.

Put whatever Wii games you want through an Injector (I use Teconmoons WiiVc Injector) if you want them bootable from the Wii U homescreen.

Copy the install files to SD/Install
Run Mii-Maker>Homebrew Channel> WupinstallerGx> Select All> Install> Wait >Reboot

If you want to run off Usbloadergx from the Vwii menu, you can go to the vwii homebrew channel> Usbloadergx
Then you have to change the storage location from SD to USB.

Typically the former injector method is used because there is a tool you have to use to do the other method by partitioning and then running a tool to hide the USB from the Wii U itself, which ultimately proved to be a hassle.
Remember you have a 300 title limit on the Wii U, so be careful not to pre inject your entire library as your console most likely cant store all of the titles.
