Is it possible to open them in winrar? as when i try its saying file is corrupt.

I'm currently writing an .iso at x4 speed to a verbitamin dvd-r using img burn, could i get away with doing a x8 next time?

    yeah burn at 8x.....

You can't open a wii iso through magic ISO etc, if the ISO has been rared you can unzip it.

Why do you want to extract the ISO, if you are burning them afterwards. It's just fine, to burn the ISOs with ImgBurn.
However, Trucha Signer is capable to unpack single files of a Wii ISO.
