Gaming Wii Impressions

I think because many gbatempers (including me) don't know exactly what to think of the Wii. The Wii is my first ever home console and...well I occasionally enjoy a few games, but I tend to play the Gamecube games and my DS games much more. Especially the DS I think is much more fun.

Mostly with the Wii I flip through the DVD wallet thinking "now what the f*%K do I want to play?!" and I grab my DS again.

I think the Wii has so much potential, but 70% that comes out is just REAL crap! It's just painful watching the Wii scene nowadays. On one hand the Wii's are selling like mad, on the other hand the games are so average.

I'm still hoping for a sudden explosion of quality games. But I think Nintendo somehow is "in trouble". These days developers want to make easy money and don't want to spend "quality time" on fine tuning the specific game controls of the Wii (I'm immediately thinking of Nights: Journey of Dreams)
