Hacking Wii Game Save file path

Hello,

I am currently doing a remod for a friend and I need to format his hard drive again.

However, he has game saves that he wants to keep and restore after formatting.

I can't figure out where the game saves are located on the hdd so that i can save them.

Can someone point me in the right direction on where these are located?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't game saves on the Wii's flash memory, not a hard drive? Reapplying softmods shouldn't affect them.

The saves are on internal memory, not hdd

emulators save files are stored on the hard drive and also usb loaders now have the option to store wii game save files on the hard drive itself as well.
