apparently i need to convert the .elf file to .dol anyone have a converter?

just rename the boot.elf to boot.dol

The elf to dol converter is there for a reason

Priiloader is better than preloader 0.30. It will overwrite your old preloader.
Startpatch is for the hacks only (if you don't want something to boot before the System menu, like preloader).
Its best not to combine Preloader/Priiloader and startpatch

if you open and read the batch file included to convert from elf to dol it just copy's the boot.elf to boot.dol no fancy conversion

Thanks a lot so I guess ill install Priiloader, but will it show up everytime I go to the system menu like the old version I have? I don't really like that.

Also how do I sintall HBC to IOS61? I'm kinda stuck there, and by doing so will it load from Bootmii again?

You can configure preloader/priiloader to autoboot the System menu in the settings menu (should even be possible with the version you have now)

The HBC will automatically choose a good IOS when you install it

Bootmii needs to be installed separately, with the hackmii installer

Well apparently I need it installed on IOS61, because I need to update IOS36 with Hash Check and ES_inability, but doing so gets me an upside down HBC.

I know, but if i recall correctly with the new HBC you can't boot it directly from BootMii, bacause I tried and I got a black screen.

I just hope doing all of this makes my wii stop freezing...
really its ridiculous it freezes like every 20 minutes some times in even less time.

yeah but IOS61 isn't supposed to be trucha patched
so its best to just have 1 patched IOS [36] and let HBC run from IOS61

Now going to the system menu from BootMii goes to Priiloader and it says
"Error booting Bootmii IOS!"
Also tried to load HBC from BootMii and just got a black screen.

poweron wii, bootmii=>priiloader=> (priiloader) autoboot to bootmii thats right?
what you're trying to do pernament loop? hehe

It seems you're using bootmii as boot2?!
then you dont need priiloader (use it only if you have installed bootmii as ios)

Well from BootMii it goes to Priiloader and in there I need to Choose System Menu

I just want BootMii to go to System Menu when I click in the System Menu and for it to go to HBC when i pick the HBC icon.

If bootmii is installed as boot2 it come every time up when you wii is booting.
As boot1 its only can be installed as ios (than you need to run it through hbc or something like pre(ii)loader).

ok then install hbc as ios61 (or my suggestion on ios34, see my prev posting how to do) uninstall pre(ii)loader and after that patch back the trucha bug on ios 36 (with trucha bug restorter or pimpmywii).

Well HBC is already on IOS61 and I already patched IOS36 with Hash Check and ES_identity using Dope-IOS, so I just need to uninstall Priiloader because I don't need it all...right?
