what do you mean "sonic" un-worthy??? :S. Sonic kicks ass dudes, one hell of a game and the best sonic games since the original 2d games. When i look at the wii line up game wise sonic has to be one of the better titles by a long long LONG shot.

ive never played metal slug anthology yet, but just because its metal slug, i would think it would be at least one of the more memorable games - anyone got any comments?

There are others that are probably good, and I have most of them, but haven't played them enough to make a good judgement.

Zelda is not on either list because I have not yet gotten to a point where it has been THAT impressive. I think it is over-hyped a bit. However, I will play it more later and likely change my tune.

And I'd just like to say that SPM right now may be my favorite Wii game so far, but then again im not even halfway through it yet. The only reason I might rate it higher than Zelda is the fact that I haven't so much as glanced at the box-art for Twilight Princess since I beat it. I mean, Zelda was good, but I've felt absolutely no replay value from it

Honestly, I think the only "essential" game for the Wii currently is Super Paper Mario. Maybe Zelda, but that's it.

For, me I've been addicted to Blazing Angels lately. So I'd highly recommend it. It's nice to see the nunchuk get primary use in a game.

And props of course for Madden 07. Here's hoping the '08 version doesn't suck too much...
