Hardware wii drive key not working

Hi I just got a drive key I installed it correctly or at least the red led turns on when I tap the eject button three times and then like a strobe light comes two flashes
I think it just needs to be updated but I don't know where to get the update for drivekey and I've googled it at least twenty times. any help is appreciated I cant access the config menu or play original games with it installed It works without the chip

Have you configured the dip-switches?

JAP = ON/ON
USA = OFF/ON
EUR = ON/OFF
KOR = OFF/OFF

also on the latest wii consoles the drivekey is blocked.
