Hacking Wii Downgrading

I am considering on buying a Wii now is it possible if i could downgrade the firmware
and what would i use since i was trying the downgrading using the ios16.wad and then the cios_fix.wad then the ios downgrader and the cios downgrader and it seems to give me an error when trying to downgrade. And i also tried the Any Region changer which gave me an error any suggestions>

there are a lot of packs and guides put together on this forum, and in the stickies section. Just read and you will find exactly what your looking for in no time. Its also not too difficult if you read and follow instructions. You will need wifi access for the wii so if you dont have that dont bother
