Hardware Wii Charging Dock

Well, I was gonna get one for my birthday in 3 days, but when I saw my friend's Wiimote, it had 2 little things with a + and - on it.

He said he uses this for his dock. I don't have that on my Wiimotes. Will it still charge on the dock w/o it?

the wiimote doesn't have a rechargable battery in it. So if you get a dock, usually it comes with a rechargable battery pack which snaps into the back of the wiimote, and the battery pack has contacts for the dock.

Can anyone recommend a good one? There's a cheap one for $15 at monoprice.com - everywhere else they're around $30.

aww thats kinda dodge coz you get a charging dock for two wiimotes but they only give you two batteries

also the ones shown on DealExtreme arent good because most of them dont hold for very long. like 4 hours max gameplay and if you dont use within a few days then they go flat.

Oh LOL! then your best bet would be something like EB or GameTraders, but im pretty sure the retail stores that you have mentioned would stock them but with limited options

lisa in regards to where you can buy em.. jbhifi, electronics boutique and i think i've seen them at even kmart.. but shouldnt be too hard to find. you're looking at roughly $30-$40 if you're after a dual recharge dock. but if you wanna go down the ebay path you can get them a hell of alot cheeper.

I grabbed the Nyko Wii Charge Station, and it works like a charm! I bought it at Best Buy for $35.
