Homebrew Wii channel time and launch restrictions

The Wii does support time restrictions and launch restrictions on channels, most likely intended to be used for demos. According to these two articles,

Dolphin supports that, too, and a very early beta of the Homebrew Channel actually used that. However, I was unable to find any article or documentation about how I can use that.

Does someone know how I could edit a WAD of a channel to have a time limit / launch limit?
