I don't know anything about creating banners for wads besides adding a still picture so if someone else knows more than I do here go a head and help out

You should be able to use IOS58 for the forwarder, it's usually the fastest and best

if you ever want to make your own homebrew forwarder download customizemii use a static base change the title to the title of the homebrew select the ios the homebrew runs on click forwarder to type the folder name of the homebrew you want to forward to. then go to banner select the file click the preview button the click replace and see which setting you like best, do the same thing for the icon picture. click create wad save the and you are done

I would never upload something I haven't tested myself, why would I want to cause damage to someone else's console. Now if they edit the wad and screw up their console themselves well that's just your own fault don't come crying to me or anyone else

I wasn't being defensive if that's how you took it and I agree you don't know me very well and asking just to be safe completely understandable. Someone new comes in and starts releasing things and uploading things it's understandable to be questioned.

so due to lack of javascript wiibrowser doesn't download files off of coolrom I know they use a combination of javascript and dynamic download links

No offence acidflare, but your banner is pretty god awful. lol. I'll whip something together in about an hour. (i'll post screenies too, cuz whynot.)
I'll just use the dol from the current one, if thats alright.

Edit: a bit of a delay on that. I ran into a snag with the banner I was going to use as a base. The Icon-- It looks too low res for my taste. I'll have to figure something out. It'll be done by tomorrow though.

did you not read the previous posts? I used the icon.png picture that comes with the initial setup for wiibrowser and I stated I don't know how to make anything beside's a still picture banner.

Acidflare, CheatFreak47 a WiiBrowser forwarder would be really nice

any time I press 1 an error pops up "Unable to display files on selected load device"

this may happen if you're on a usb device with no sd card inserted.. is that so?
Also I can surely update the meta.xml along with wiibrowser's boot.dol

Acidflare, to fix coolrom downloads just put this file in a folder called "scripts" inside "apps/wiibrowser/" and set "Execute LUA scripts" to ON
in the Avanced settings menu.

PS starting from rev132 translations are supported, if someone would like to translate wiibrowser into their own language here's a sample file:
just modify the file in the line corresponding to the translation between the two "".

Lines should look like the following:
msgid "WiiBrowser Text"
msgstr "Your Language Here"

Translation files will be shipped with the next version.
