Hacking Wii bricked(?) but with a twist

I have a very early Wii with probably the newest system menu version installed, modded it something like 4 years ago and it's worked pretty well. I ran into a couple bricks which were easy enough to fix but this one's different. When I turn on my Wii I get a black screen but I also get a red gradient near the bottom of the screen and a little glitchy red arrow that hovers around the mid right of the screen. When I try to load priiloader (I'm getting the led flashes when turning on my Wii so I know I have boot2) I get a different black screen with a choppy gradient from black near the top to a dark grey near the bottom. Has anyone ever seen anything similar to this? Am I pretty much screwed? or is there a way to fix this?

If you guys want picture and think that would be of some help just let me know!

It might be your video cables; doubt it has to do with a software brick.

Have you tried loading bootmii @ boot2? If you don't have the bootmii files available you can recreate them with modmii, then just copy the bootmii folder to your sd card.

If that also shows up all messed up, and the other cables/tv don't help either, then its most likely a hardware issue in the wii itself, which is basically unfixable.

Yes, I had tried that.
The problem was that the tv blew the AV port, thanks everyone for your help, I can confirm the problem is now solved.
