Hacking Wii Brick ? Black Screen

Hello,

Befor all update my Run run 3.3E + Preloader 0.93 I think everything work be great but ive try to update....

I've updated my wii to 4.0E successfully after reboot everything work great but i've try to update IOS to with IOS 60 Patcher ... after reboot Screen stay black
No remote controller but I can use remote controller to switch on wii ...

I don't have anymore preloader I think maybe IOS 60 has erase my preloader ...

What can I do now to fix this problem ?

GC controller on port 4 ?

savemii ?
Or other solution ?

when u installed a new system menu wad (for 4.0) you uninstalled preloader. And you installed a STUB IOS60, which is the IOS used by 4.0 system menu. Unless you have bootmii as boot2, I think you're wii is 100% bricked.

I dont think so. If Ninty detects homebrew, the probably charge around €100-€200 ( notice €200 is enough to BUY A NEW WII)

I've installed 4.0E using Wan by network ...
Everyting work great after reboot

But when i've lunch IOS60/61 Installer /Patcher for install IOS60 consol won't boot.

What do you got? No signal?, or health screen?

Led power Green wii
Remote not Sync
Only black Screen and when I press the power button I see DVD led blue
I've try to press Reset during power on but preloader has been erased ...
No boot2 is installed

....

100% full brick ? Any solution ? Need to put it to my been ? Wii is on warranty until december ...

only way to fix it is to use a modchip (can't remember the name of the chip that MAY work, but its still not a guarantee).

u may have voided your nintendo warranty, if possible, try getting them to replace it without letting them take a close look at the console... don't ask how, but it can be done (i've done it, lol)... just come up with a good 'story' for them

When I've lunch my new game it ask me to install news firmware I've say yes and after reboot I got black screen ..

how did u launch a game? I thought u were bricked? Sorry I dont understand what u did.

If its still under warranty just phone them up and tell them that you did the 4.2 update it froze and when you rebooted your wii you just got a black screen, just play dumb as you have 100% brick they will send you a refurbed one before they look to closely at yours, anyway you have nothing to lose by trying do you?

i know that some games have updates in them... thats not whats confusing me

first u said u updated using wanin's 4.0 updater, then u used IOS 60 Patcher (which installed a stub IOS60, which bricked your wii).

then you say u accepted an update from a disk? my question is HOW did u do that if u were already bricked! u make no sense!

if u don't know what bootmii is, u should not be doing anything to your wii... period... google it.

Wrong. Savemii(frii) wont work.
Q: Why? Explain plz.
A: Savemii(frii) requires system menu to boot up, and since he got blackscreen/NOTHING it wont boot up, and he is screwed without preloader/bootmii.

As i said in my previous reply, you CANT UNBRICK YOUR WII WITH A GC CONTROLLER!
You messed your sys menu up, so you CAN NOT GET IN RECOVERY MODE. (recovery mode is built in the sys menu)
Here is it where you messed it up: but i've try to update IOS to with IOS 60 Patcher.
So the only chance to unbrick it is to get it to Nintendo.

A: No, Universal unbrick disc v4, is simply a disc that can unbrick your wii WITH RECOVERY MODE, but since you cant acces it because you messed your sys menu up and got blackscreen, its the end.
