Hmm, it's been a while since I did anything with the Wii and just tried to install cIOS249, dx2 v6 base 56.
I noticed that there were quite a few STUB IOS on the IOS map too, so decided to delete a couple. (IOS254, also deleted 249 before installing cIOS 249)
Now the disc channel is constantly saying 'Wii System Update' which has confused me.
I'd be happy to reinstate the STUB for the IOS' files to get rid of it and just use another cIOS to load games from CFG Loader. Just wanna know if there's a simple method to stop the Wii asking to update constantly hahaha
About to try priiloader hack 'Block System Updates' to see if that stops it anyways. Cheers guys, I'll edit if it works!
Lock the thread… Blocking the updates for Disc and Online updates through priiloader worked. Thanks anyways, and sorry for the un-needed post hahaha
