Hacking Wii 4.2 Homebrewed, restart problem

Hi guys,

i have a problem with a homebrewed 4.2 wii, did the "Modify any Wii 4.2" by xzxero
everything installed well, installed wiiflow forwarder channel and tried neogamma, but
everytime i want to start a game from a DVD the wii restarts, i re installed cios 249 (rev14)
but same result here...

...any ideas, im confused, homebrewed a wii yesterday and that one works very well...

How new is your wii? i know some of the new wii's cant do DVD's anymore

The Wii is about 1 Year old
Serial was like LEH230...

its most likely a new wii, u need to use a usb loader instead of backup disk loaders

What the...i tried a game on a wbfs usb and that one worked well...thanks for the hint.
ok so no dvd, thats ok...but...i tried to start wiiflow forwarder again and its just restarting.
i have the wiiflow folder on a SD with the Wiiflow.ini in it with the no usb thing and a USB wbfs with a game, but agaiin...it only sais: Welcome to Wiiflow, and then restart...


Edit: ooohhhh shit, i forgot something...thats so emberassing.
the wiiflow restart issue is now fixed, my fault, but thanks anyway for the dvd disc issue, didnt knew about it and good to know.
