I hope this game represents the STREET skating crowd properly. Shaun white is good skateboarder no doubt, but every skater knows he's all half-pipe and vert. Being a street skater, I hope the trick system and locations are not biased solely towards Shaun's skill set. Sk8 or Die!

looks like it's going to be an hour or so before i can give this game a whirl, but i would imagine that it wouldn't be limited to just vert. I'm sure that there will be plenty of street action. After all Tony Hawk is also primarily a vert skater and all of the tony hawk games have featured plenty of street skating. Rodney Mullin was always the first skater i ran threw the games with and he is the godfather of street tech. followed by eric kosten. another one of my favorite street skaters. i'm sure that the street skating will be equally represented in this game too.

Looking forward to trying this. Will wait for NTSC release though. Shawn White Snowboarding was great fun on the balance board. But I found Skate It for Wii was too difficult/complicated with the balance board. Hope this is good fun.

I was gonna try this just earlier today... then I noticed my batteries in my balance board were dead and needed charging. Hopefully will get a chance to try tonight or tomorrow. Looking forward to this, hopefully it's just as fun as Shawn White Snowboarding (one of my favourite games for the Balance Board).

I've tried it out & all I've gotten is a black screen

I'm surprised no one else has started complaining that it doesn't work, it must have some sort of AP in it like Prince of Persia did (both games made by Ubisoft).
I was really excited to play the game too... :'(

PAL version is working fine for me on my NTSC 4.2u using latest USB Loader GX.

First thing I noticed... it asks you to plug in a nunchuck, even if you're using the balance board. You use thumb stick for turning, foot pushes, stopping and vert transfers. Buttons on wiimote are used for kick flips and grabs, you can modify them by leaning one direction or another on the balance board and by using A, B, or both. Ollies and nollies are done by giving a sharp pressure to front or back of balance board (also used in vert pumping)... balance board is also used for balancing your grinds. I'm still trying to figure out how to add spins in to tricks... or if there is manuals (riding on your front or rear wheels only).

Game isn't overall too bad, for sure more accessible and enjoyable then EA Skate was on Wii (that was extremely difficult on balance board). It may have been a good idea after all to make turning using the thumb stick... makes the game a bit more accessible as some would fine using the balance board overwhelming. EA Skate's issue was the kick flips were very complex, there was 6 "zones" on the balance board for you to put pressure on to cause different maneuvers... that was on top of leaning for steering, air spins and much more. This is a pretty fun game right on par with Shawn White Snowboarding... I personally prefer snowboarding, but that's more of a personal sport preference. But Shawn White games are still is a good series on the Wii.

Hmm, I'm getting a black screen, too. =\ I'm using NTSC 3.4U (yes, I know it's old, but I'm able to run every game I've got), cIOS38Rev17 and using USB Loader GX 929c.

Any suggestions? Thanx!

The game will work using cIOSx rev20 (IOS56 base). I have also tried Hermes cIOS222 (IOS38 base) and got a black screen, whereas cIOS223 (IOS37 base) will give you "An error occurred" message.

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.

He couldn't eat until after his MRI, when he had a bomb pop.
