Game was meant to come out on Thursday (Wednesday in america).
Got it yesterday with the shirt cause some stores are selling early (GAME and EB Games have copies. EB had ones on shelf but GAME only had some preorders and luckily me and my friend's copy was in)

Great game!

A few years ago a modchip was the only way to go - now it's the opposite, a modchip is a waste of time and money.

I really don't agree, for me the Mod-Chip was a great "investment" of 19€, which let me play everygame, how many people bricked their wiis and tried different options to play a game while I just burned an ISO and played...I suppose million, as the forums world wide are full of those people, although, Im really not in the mood to keep myself up to date with softmods and Ciios and Ios, i just wanna play, so for me and many others mod-chips are the way to go, but I suppose this is not the topic here, right?

My modchip was a also great investment at the time. It played games at 6x and had great compatibility.

Times however have changed.

QUOTEIm really not in the mood to keep myself up to date with softmods and Ciios and Ios,
You don't update a "softmod", you update a cIOS once in a blue moon and it takes seconds to do, you update the IOS exactly the same whether running with a modchip or using a cIOS (less so with the cIOS in fact - SMG2 for instance, no need to update your IOS if running with usb loader but update is needed to run from disc). With a modchip you still need to update the firmware on your modchip (unless you get stuck with a chip that isn't up-datable).

As I said, modchips were fantastic, but their time has well and truly passed. Everything that they can do can be done faster and better in software, plus more besides.

hmm, when i try to remove the update with WiiBrickBlocker, i get this error message "No More Heroes 2 DS[Wii][PAL][Scrubbed][TLS Games][Reidy].iso isnt a valid Wii ISO file!" first time i see this has happened.

i have tried with two different releases of the game and same thing happens, any ideas?

I'm on 4.2E, soft (for channels) and hardmodded (d2epro). I never use any loaders. I've updated my IOSes using ioscorp but I can't run this. It shows as a Wii system update on the disc channel. When I click OK than the update starts and after a few seconds stops saying: Update Failed. Any ideas?

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
