So are they not making Guitar hero anymore? Just calling it Band Hero from now on? Since they have pretty much killed every classic rock song ever anyway now

The idea is to expand Guitar Hero to a wider audience by having more pop and mainstream songs. Tracklist is actually better then I thought though with:

i don't see why this is getting so much flack about the song list. i'm just barely playing rockband 2 and half he songs are horrendous. a good third are actually infuriating like "we are the kids in america"- WTF is that? and "i was wrong" - so irritating. some of the good songs aren't fun to play at all due to very repetitive notes - most of the songs on rockband actually lack melody so the gameplay has been very repetitive notes. some songs i don't understand why they would even be there. i like the beasty boys but seriously "watcha want" is the most boring, dreadful experience in a rythm game ever.

as much as i don't care for mainstream music i think it has good melodies going for it and similar to the beatles rockband i'm sure it's more fun to play even if you hate the songs.
