Remember it's not about the color system, it's about a region lock in your console to prevent people from importing others country's games !
Otherwise you guys would be able to play American games, albeit in black and white !

Maybe when the Wiinja etc authenticate burnt discs it'll work for different region discs also? Or has it been confirmed by the team(s) themselves that it won't? I don't think Nintendo are sensible enough to use a different key pair to sign each regions code.

And the modulator hardware on any decent console should be switchable between PAL and NTSC anyhoo.. or give out standard raw feed that any decent TV can take like we europeans do with arcade boards. NTSC TV's suck.

NTSC-J consoles won't run NTSC-US or PAL games without a chip. It doesn't matter to the region lock.

the test of cyclowiz (similar to the wiinja) by maxconsole says that other region backups don't works with the chip, they have tested many ones....we must wait for one with this option, or maybe the future freeloader will be able to do this (combined with a chip)....
