Now now, don't throw your toys out the pram.

Simply what I was saying is the when you go to configure DS WiFi settings in the system settings application, it launches a .app that is contained in the TWLN partition of the NAND
 
fyi, twl_firm starts the ds/dsi game by loading the .app and shit. nothing of this is done under native_firm, so everything is "rebooted" (firmlaunch). MSET doesn't boot any app, however they ask NS to launch a DS/DSi mode title, and NS will ask PM to firmlaunch and prepare boot config in memory for twl_firm to read the title id and stuff afterwards.
