Running 3.1U and HBC 1.0.3. My setup has been running for months. Suddenly, this week, HBC apps (including Homebrew Browser) will not connect to the Internet.

The Wii network works, and I could successfully perform a test (then it asks for an update, which I decline).

When in HBC and hit the home channel, I see my IP address at the top, and the globe is solidly colored.

But, every time I enter Browser it freezes on "Waiting for network to initialise..." for a few seconds, then repeatedly shows "Unable to initialise network, retrying...".

Even more, if I use a loader to download covers, that will also freeze on on trying to connect to the Internet.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

I have a similar problem, I can't get into the browser, but I can't even do a connection test in the Wii menu. It finds my network but that's all.

if you know what you're doing try configuring with a static ip in the wii and try again.

I've just posted something similar here though I don't have a solution either yet...

If you're using a similar router and/or same wireless security - you might have the same problem as me...

Not sure if it's the same issue. I run a Linksys WRT54G v6 with DD-WRT mini with WPA2/PSK. I installed HBC two months ago and never had an issue until just this last week, when the homebrew networking all stopped working.
