Hacking WiFi - do I need to take care ?

I have a new DSi XL (After several years of using a DS lite - and a DSTT card)
I have a R4i card coming soon (ordered from http://www.R4iShopper.com on Thursday)
I am wary of using the WiFi - in case Nintendo are wise to hacking
Can anyone confirm whether any DSi XL's have actually been blocked (or whatever the term is) - ie "GOT AT" by Nintendo ?
or whether this is safe to use - prior to using my new card ?

As far as I know, no one with a DS/DSi and a flashcart has ever been blocked from Wifi. If the WiFi part of any game doesn't work, it's a fault of the flashcart and not because Ninty did anything to anyone to prevent them from playing online.

In other words, don't even worry about it. It's all good.

I've never heard of anybody getting banned on the DS for flash carts either.

You can't get banned from Wi-Fi on the Nintendo DS. I've used it a lot of times before and nothing's happened to me.

Even then, if you DO somehow get banned from Wi-Fi, I doubt it'll affect the DS, just the game itself. In that case, you could probably delete the save and make a new one and be unbanned.

Off topic, but this question is just as bad as "Can my DS get a virus if I download a program with a virus on the DS Browser?"
