Hacking Widescreen Hacks/Codes for N64 Virtual Console games?

I was curious if anyone had figured out how to translate N64 widescreen codes into a Wii 64 Virtual console gecko code. It would be neat if this was possible.

I found this code for Mario Kart 64
16:9 Anamorphic Widescreen (discovered by Jorge Luis):
1P, 3P and 4P: 81150148 3FDF
2P: 81150148 4060
Note: You can only have one of these on at at time. Need to make a more complicated code to edit this value based on the number of players.

It would be great if there was a way to use this on the Wii. Those black bars are annoying and it looks terrible stretched.

Looks like there is some way to do it with VC games in Dolphin. I still haven't found any Widescreen hack codes that will work on a Wii.
