WIA vs Roms

The way i see it, is that you need to insert the red card no matter what, to access emuNAND and all your .CIA's.

So may as well just play them in .3DS format if the red cards already in there right?

And besides, large games (2gb and over) take FOREVER to install. I assure you, this is gross understatement on how it takes. And I've got a class 10 big SD, the theoretical limit of 3DS read/write speed!

What? Thats how card2 saves are no matter what. What I was talking about changes nothing related to that.
Where it saves is also an issue for me, because I have a small microSD, so I have to change the games inside and you can't delete the games directly yet (because of the fragmentation error).
When I want to change the games I format the microSD then just put the games from my PC to my microSD.

If you can't just delete the files, you have a bad mSD card, I've never gotten fragmentation error.
Again, ALL card2 games save to the rom, so having to backup your rom would take place either way. Only card1 games save in to the 3ds sd in .sav format.
Also, you can use that card2sav program I linked earlier to actually backup the save, should you want to.

I get the fragmentation error only if I copy a new ROM after I deleted some other and it occurs only for that ROM.

That would be useful but I think just using CIAs for Card2 games is much quicker, unless there is a ROM manager that automates everything.

Hmmm... Do you have any idea how much of a difference it makes? I assume nobody has performed a battery test to check that yet?
No tests, no, but if I had to guess I'd say the GW reduces the battery life of the 3DS by maybe 1/3 (i.e. from ~4.5 to ~3 hours). Although sometimes I feel like it even worse, "Come on, I swear I started playing an hour ago on a full charge why the hell are blinking red already!!!"
