You can find most of the games in WUP format and once installed these will work better than running your games through Loadiine. ^_^

Loadiine is good for allowing you to run the games directly from the SD card, but while some of them end up with long waits during loading periods, others don't run properly or don't work at all.

When it comes to stability, I believe that installing the games on a SSD/HDD unit using WUP installer will work in your favor for the best results. :)

I've had a lot of game not work... Pokken tornment always locks up, batman arkham city isn't playable, resident evil revalations doesn't seems to work, and lego city undercover... Idk why doesn't seems as mature as everyone seems to make it... But i'm sure the WII and NGC injects should probably all work well atleast.

edit: but idk if there's a compatibility list, idk why there's not but maybe I just keep hitting the oddballs...

Maybe I'll try some different hard drives and see if that makes a difference.. You guys ever get those games working by chance?

Edit: Or maybe moving it to internal nand?

So for compatibility sake, I think I see things that WUP Installer doesn't work for but does on loadliine like for disc only games.. Am I wrong? And is there's a compatibility list for WUP Installed games like for loadliine https://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Loadiine_compatibility_list
There's no reason to not use WUP-installed games, except some very uncommon and obscure modded games that were only distributed in loadiine format in the early days of the scene. Before WUP games were a thing, I dabbled with loadiine loading and it was a mess. Load times were enormous, compatibility was hit or miss, and it crashed a lot (and I used a very good SD card).
WUP is basically identical to the "legit" experience. No reason to not go with WUP installed.

If you are having issues with WUP installed games, your installer or hard drive has something wrong.

I know I have pokken tournament and arkham city. not sure about the other two. pokken tournament has a weird trademark logo in the install folder, so you have to remove it for it to install.
You played them right? EDIT: Didn't mean to post this oops

What do you mean by not working? Not installing, not loading??

As for freezing issues, as stated above that would be a problem with your hdd, whether its becoming faulty or your power source for it is. Your not using a thumb drive per chance??

I'm using a 500GB hdd with a usb y cable from a laptop that was lying around ... Probably 5400rpm drive... First I'm trying the system memory, then I could try a solid state drive that I have.

EDIT: For Batman I get stuck with just a empty level with fog, Pokken tournment would start just when trying to start a battle it wouldn't work.... I don't remember if the screen just went black or what

I was actually able to move Pokken from the external hdd to the internal and it sees to work now... This is my 2nd wii u and using some random laptop hdd and having those issues. Guess I should of thought of the HDD as basic troubleshooting. Thanks guys (: ... I'll try running that CrystalDiskMark at some point on that HDD and share it as reference

I'm using a 2TB wd elements (laptop external) hdd with y cable. no game has ever froze or crashed for me, and I've been using it for like four or five years. it's using a series of extension cables, since my wii u is on the other side of the room.

This is also why I personally do not recommend y cable set ups as the wii u usb ports can become faulty or even dirty over time.... Trying a little cleaning of them could be an easy fix to connection issues but I'd always recommend an independent power source such as a powered sata adapter.

Not saying that's your definitive problem, it's just my opinion as I know many of the guys here also use y cable set ups with no problems.

I have all the games you mention installed as wup and have played them to the end with absolutely zero issues. The problem is something is wrong with your setup

The only reason i still use Loadiine is to set up my randomized 64 Zelda runs. Easier and faster than installing and uninstalling shit into the vWii, i don't care if its the "Wrong way" to play the randomizer according to speedrunners.

That's a fair usage. As long as you're not submitting the runs to leaderboards then there really isn't a need to adhere to their standards.

Yeah i know, that didn't stopped people from the discord shitting on me when i fixed the Ocarina of Time randomizer freezing issues on Wii U virtual console. Never go to discord kids. That place is filled with groomers speaking in "OwO" and people smelling their own farts.
