Homebrew Question Why won't my FTPD work?

ummm that's an interesting netmask IP..... I don't think that is good lol that means it would use every possible IP which could be why you are timing out..

Go to firewall settings and make custom config for your PC. (Allow your PC IP to bypass or have no restrictions through router firewall)
Since we all live in different time zones, I'm trying to get as much steps in for when I have access. Once i setup the config for my pc, should i do a ping or nmap or something?

Once you have access to the router, could you tell the model and make? That would ease helping with the config.

Btw, probably there isn't any firewall at all between wifi and wired. By default TCP/IP just doesn't route between two networks reserved for internal use and the routing must be defined manually.

I think it is a virgin media hub 3.0 or something

this is the page, I don't see an option to setup configs and stuff

If you have recent-ish Android, you could try tethering the PC to WiFi with your phone using USB cable. I reckon that could actually be the easiest option with least amount of pain.

yeah but what im trying to do is just get the FTPd to work so that whenever i need to transfer a file or something, i can just open the app, and open filezilla without any extra steps or moving stuff around ect.

OK, try posting the config for each page.
The first thing to test is disabling all firewall options and then pinging the switch's IP.
Any tabs I should miss out? since tabs like Wireless have more tabs. also I turned of all the firewall settings but pinging 192.168.68.115 (my switch) still gives "request timed out.". also I tried pinging my phone at 192.168.68.115 and it also gave "request timed out."

That really depends on router brand/firmware, so there is no way to know the specifics for your router, unless I was familiar with it, which is not the case.

I'd like to see every page if possible, starting from the wireless configs.
Be mindful of censoring your WiFi passwords and public IP.
