Why point DNS MITM to 95.216.149.205 instead of localhost?

Why can't *conntest.nintendowifi.net and *ctest.cdn.nintendo.net be redirected to 127.0.0.1 instead of 90DNS?
Thanks!

ctest patch skips the connection test though so are those last two entries even needed?
ctest patches can randomly cause issues with CPU overusage if you will meet certain conditions. So be aware of that when you try to run tools like Status Monitor and your Switch will crash or show 100% Core 3 usage.

Except it's not the same. There I asked what the benefits or disadvantages would be of using 95.216.149.205 vs loopback because for whatever reason this topic didn't show up in my search at that time (most likely due to a typo when searching). That was never answered there, but is was answered above.

Here I asked if the last two are even necessary at all when ctest is patched. That has not yet been answered. So you do have anything helpful to add on that aspect? Or no? Because your reply on the other topic was that one would "assume" they are not needed. An assumption is not an actual answer.
