I think the key phrase in the whole OP is "for me".

To him it gets boring after 15-25 levels. Apparently he can't grasp the concept that other people's minds can-and in fact do!-work differently than his own.
I pointed this out in his last 'hater' thread. It didn't sink in.

What does Activision have to do with ANYTHING in this topic?

mario kart is THE best racer on the ds
find me a racing game better then mario kart on the ds and that would be great
Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing is a pretty good competitor, although Mario Kart still woops Sonic Racing's ass.

I'm in the same boat as you are, it gets boring after a while, even with online play.
It can never be too boring!

It's always fun to snake the whole level and then look at angry peoples' faces!

That is the main problem mario kart DS and Wii have. This whole snaking thing. Its not fun to snake and see their faces, cuz u cant see faces online, It is fun to play mario kart Wii, without cheating (yes snaking is a legal and stupid cheat made by nintendo) and be 1st anyways. Now thats fun, to see how they rageee and D/C from the games, now thats priceless. Main problem is they snake the hell out of the game and forget how to play the game, they just master a cheat move but when the track cant be used to snake, they lose

. Snaking on DS is even worse, besides mario kart DS online is full of cheaters. I only play mario kart wii and thats cuz snaking was a bit washed out in it...

What do you mean by it's a legal cheat made by Nintendo :S ?
I'm assuming by that post that you think Nintendo intended for the game to be played like that so it isn't a cheat after all.
How can a cheat be legal? I fail to understand that logic.

Simple, snaking is a cheat, ive proven a lot of times snaking is not needed to win, at least on mario kart wii, IF you select the correct tracks. But nintendo made a big mistake making this move possible, now they tried to take it out but since gamers just got too used to snaking, nintendo feared if they take out snaking many gamers wont buy their games. Thats the only reason snaking is still in it.

As for being a legal cheat, well snaking was done by nintendo on porpuse, its not a bug, but gamers just exploited the move to the point its a cheat and unfair to real players that know how to play the game. Knowing how to make a move doesnt make you a master in a game...

I don't know if it applies to 6 year olds, but younger children love repitition. There are some studies out there somewhere say that a 3 year old would enjoy watching the same episode of Dora the Explorer 3 or 4 times more than watching 3 or 4 unique episodes.

But anyways at 6 years old, most are still dumber than a box of rocks. You can't exactly expect them playing Knights in the Nightmare or Dementium. They're very limited to what they can play. And Mario Kart, being one of the system's best is very user friendly. That dumbass 6 year old needs only to know Left, Right, A to play. It can also be the parent's cheapness at fault. As a kid I had Super Mario 64 for nearly 2 whole years before I got a different game, by the time Ocarina of Time came out, I absolutely loathed Mario. And on GameBoy Pocket, I had nothing but Link's Awakening and Tetris to play for like 4 years, and Tetris I found on the ground at school. You have to consider until they reach a certian age, parents are the ones calling the video gaming shots. [Personal story] I got lucky with Ocarina of Time because my father enjoyed Link's original adventure, which prompted him to buy A Link to the Past, which led him to buy Link's Awakening, which led him to buy Ocarina of Time. I remember waking up at 5am, finding my father sitting at the edge of my bed playing that goddamn Water Temple. [/Personal story] Anyways, blame ignorant parents on the 6 year olds with MarioKart.

All I ever seem to see now is this

6 year old + Nintendo DS Phat = Hours of Mario Kart DS

Honestly, I was walking around some store and the first one I saw I automatically assumed would be playing MArio Kart. I was right. I don't know why the game is so popular. Sure, it's unique, but I don't have Mario Kart - or even play it for that matter! (I used to play it)

For me, the same game formula wears out after about 15-25 levels.

Discuss - i'd love to know why

Jeez, quit bitching! So you don't like Mario Kart! I didn't like 'The World Ends With You' but I didn't prattle on about it on the internet!

Also, stop hanging around stores looking at what young boys have in their hands! That's wrong! Mario Kart games are fun and believe it or not, there are other opinions in the world other than yours...

What's Activision got to do with Mario Kart?

For now, Blur
But that's not on a Nintendo console, is it? So your post still makes no sense.
Blur's commercials have a ripoff of Mario Kart, and there's a ripoff rainbow toad who wants to go into the world of Blur. That's the only thing that links them.

I resent that XD my just-turned-7 year old sister watches nature documentaries, wants to be a vet, and she's completed about half of Twilight Princess on her own, up to chapter 3 of Sly 2, she's further than I am in Dark Cloud, she's beaten Katamari Damacy and some of We Love Katamari, she plays Windwaker, Pokemon HG, Bleach:Dark Souls, Soma Bringer, Morrowind and others. Don't lump all 6 year olds together XD just because the 6 year olds you know have the intellectual capacity of a tree stump doesn't mean they all do. My sister also enjoys Mario Kart sometimes but she doesn't play it to death like some. She prefers Morrowind.

I know right? o_o
I'm so proud XD I'm raising her to be a proper gamer. I'm still amazed that she plays Morrowind so...capably. She DIDNT die within 10 minutes like I expected o_o I think last time I checked on her, she was doing the House Telvanni quests.
