Hacking Why is there no Supergrafx emulator on the PSVita?

Ok, so I downloaded the roms, renamed them

Sgx_1941 , etc.
Now pfba recognizes them, they show up!

But... I get the famous C2-1282 error, no matter what I try.
I tried renaming the .pce files to .sgx files and rezipping them,
Every time the same error.

Has anyone tried to get the sgx files working in PFBA?

Fairly sure the SGX/PCE console-compliant driver itself isn't supported in PFBA. AFAIK, its primary (and only, in this context) use is for arcade machines.
A crash indicates that it just won't work, full-stop.

OK place say aldynes into a zip file and call it "sgx_aldynes.zip"

it should work OK . bit slow but works.

Here is a link with all the games accepted by Pfba with extensions for consoles.

You can edit the pfba config to point to any directory.

Not to bring back an old thread, but RetroArch 1.8.5 brings new cores, and now has Beetle SuperGrafx core included! Running a tad bit under 60, but wonder if overclocking will help.
