For the SuMo and Mario Maker plugins, they all require N3DS. Why is O3DS suddenly not supported?

It's not that NTR has suddenly stopped working on the O3DS, it's because NTR never supported extended memory games on the O3DS in the first place. In the past, games requiring extended memory weren't so common so not many people noticed that. However as games become more and more complex, we are seeing more and more games requiring extended memory mode come out and as a result this issue becomes more frequent.

What they all said, the o3ds reboots granting more RAM for games at the cost of almost no multitasking. (Browser, miiverse and other functions get disabled as well in these titles)

So far o3ds has Smash, MH4U/MHG, PokemonS/M, SMM3DS, among a few others more. It's tricky to get something like NTR working on those games, even if rewritten from scratch. because when the o3ds reboots it kills any suspended processes.
